Recently I did a lot of tests with pewter and made ”‹”‹a knife:

Knife
Length - 370mm
Steel - Carbon
Handle - wood, pewter

Sheath
skin, copper nails, beads

good looking knife. send me you add and I send you some low melting metal that looks a lot like puter . It's hard and good looking. I cast a nose cap with it. looks good. I have used it on knives also. I think its called korloy I had it for years.
 
Great work on the knife and the case. The bolster and end cap are a nice touch.
