The downsizing continues and this one was hiding in the safe too. The date code on it is BP which according to my list is 2001. I don't ever remember shooting this one either as but I don't want to make the claim that it is unfired. However there is no trace of soot or carbon around the nipples, or nipple faces, or anywhere that I could see. There are no traces of rust or freckling of any kind anywhere that I could see. The bore is perfect and the cylinder bores are too. The screw heads are not messed up and the cylinder barely shows any signs of turning. It locks up tight and has a nice oiled walnut grip. It comes with a left hand cross draw flap holster that was made by a friend of mine that was a sutler in 1992. It's a nice clean 51 Navy and there are a couple of small marks on it under the barrel wedge but it is under the factory bluing so I'm guessing that it came that way.
