Can anyone give me any info on a company called Pigarmi? I bought a 44 1860 Army last summer with that name on it, and cannot track it down beyond some survivalist anti-social got busted with one in Texas with a bunch of other more modern ordinance. Any info will be appreciated.

Thirty years ago I had a autoloading pistol made by a company called "Rigarmi". Could it be that there should be a tail on the P in "Pigarmi". "Pigarmi" is just too good a name for a gun company to be true.

I just did a search and came up with the same thing as rookie did, a blurb on the DEA's website about confiscated weapons. They listed it as a Pigarmi too, so if it is a mis-stamp of Rigarmi, they must have done it to a whole slew of their guns before they caught it. :hmm: That would be too cool to be true if the name really is Pigarmi... :haha:
