Hi all,
I'm planning to take my Pedersoli SxS 10 gauge out for one last upland hunting trip before the California season ends. A couple of weekends ago, I fumbled with managing powder, shot, and wads, in the field so I ordered an Irish-style shot pouch from Dixie Gun Works to streamline the process (link: https://www.dixiegunworks.com/index...31/product_name/FL0701+Irish+Style+Shot+Pouch).
While there's plenty of online discussion about the pros and cons of Irish/English shot pouches, I'm unsure about the most efficient placement for this one. Storing it in my possible bag seems impractical because it would require two hands to tip the charger down and detach the shot measure when it seems it could be use one-handed.
I'm hoping someone here has experience using a similar pouch and can recommend the best way to attach it – sewing it on the strap of my bag like a shot snake, hanging it like a powder horn, or any other alternatives. Pictures would be especially helpful!
Thanks,
Lawrence
