I noticed in the classified section there are currently 2 Lyman pistols for sale, one is listed as a "Plains Pistol", the other as a "Great Plains Pistol". Is there any difference between the two or are they just listed using incorrect terminology?
Thanks,

I saw those too. That .54 is a good deal.I just got a new one,.54, after Christmas and just bought a TC Patriot last month...next gun will have to be for the wife and she already has a Plains pistol... :)

No difference. Some guys gets a bit confused and calls the plains pistol the Great plains pistol coz the rifles are referred to as the Great plains hunter and Rifle. On the barrel the pistol is stamped as "Plains Pistol" :v
