I just orderd a new left hand holster form the leatherman www.blackpowderbags.com real nice holster.Fit's Lyman my plains pistol very well. The leather is a nice dark brown and at first i thought the leather was a bit stiff. But after holstering the pistol the stiff leather keeps it snug were it will not fall out.but it is easy to pull out of the holster at the same time. And for around 20 bucks it's hard to beat.I give it a thumbs up. I dont work for him,I'm just letting you know about a product that works. Some times you can get skunked on a product, and i have in the past.So when i do find one that is good and works i'll let my brother front stuffers in on it.MURF

Looks like a practical hunting holster :) .One could easily fancy up or even fabricate :hmm: .

It looks just like spitfires picture but its russet brown.I would post a pic'but i dont know how to.I have a san pedro leather belt with a brass buckle and an oklahoma leather mountain man sheath with a stag grip knife with a brass but cap on the end of it.The brass cap has a M for murphy engraved on it.It took awhile to put together but I think it's a sharp looking rig.

Murf,

One more thing to ad.I think you could use this holster for a walker or dragoon revolver too_Or just about any other mid to large size frame revolver.
Makes me wish i had a walker to put in that holster.

MURF,
