Thanks, they are very labor intensive, alot of time in each one. Ive made four so far and sold two. Gonna try to do a "warrior" doll one of these days.

They look labor intensive... Keep up the good work

Are you thinking of selling to a meuseum or reenactment group ??

The ones I have sold were to fellas in my muzzle loading club. One guy bought one for his wife another for his grand daughter.

Very cool work! What are the bodies made from the one at the top almost looks like rawhide wrapped but not sure what I am seeing.
Bead work is superb!

The doll with the green beads is comercial tanned deer hide but I scraped it with a knife to give it a more "braintanned " look. The body of the doll is also the same material , all hand sewn of course , but I stuffed it with cotten cloth cut up inti small pieces. The doll with the white bead work is made the same way but with actual brain tan buckskin. They both have real human hair , thanks to my niece who saved some for me when she got her hait cut last summer. I looked at alot of museum pieces and then just gave it a go. They have really gotten alot of favorable response around here , I think because its something not too many other people are making. I, ve had alot of fun showing them off and plan to keep making them, but after each one I have to take a break for a while and do something else. Thanks !

I would love to have one or two for my native american collection and for my grand duaghter~~Those are very nice!!!!!
