We're a new 4-H Muzzleloading Club of 14 to 18 yr old young men and women. We just elected officers, and don't even have a club name yet but I would like to have a postal match with another group of kids. Never done one, would need some help getting it set up. Anyone interested?

We're shooting TC and CVA .50 and .54 caliber, patched round ball, 60 grains of powder (Max.), 100 yds max.

Gus,

I've never participated in a postal shoot, youth or otherwise, but it sounds very interesting!

I'm the Charter Organization Representative for Boy Scout Troop 95 which is based in South Amboy NJ. Several of our boys have the rifle and/or shotgun merit badges, or want to work on them. Our meetings are held on Tuesday nights...I will bring your info to the attention of several of the adult leaders and to the group as a whole, in order to ascertain if there is any interest on their part in doing something like this. Any additional information that you could supply such as how many shoots over what kind of time frame, would be extremely helpful. I have two .50 cal Lyman trade rifles and all of the "stuff" necessary to make them work!
