The Powder Flask Book by Ray Riling.

The definitive reference book for the identification of original powder flasks, it also gives an excellent exploration of the history and relationship between powder carrying accessories and early arms, from tins and horns for matchlock through boxes for paper cartridge. This is an indispensable resource if you collect, have a casual interest or want an uncommon book in your library to sit next to your volumes from Shumway.

This is the 1992 reprint which, other than the copyright info, is identical to the 1953 original printing. Just under 500 8 1/2 X 11 pages, with uncountable photos and illustrations. The book is in near-new condition, actually much nicer paper and binding than my copy from 1953.

Asking $85 $65 shipped in the USA. I will consider international shipment, with buyer paying $80 $60 plus actual cost to ship. I can take PayPal FF, money order or your personal check. Please PM for details.
