I just finished Horn #15. The horn's outside curve is 13" from nozzle to the base plug, which measures 2.5"high x 2" wide. The staple is formed from an old nail I shaped and filed. Plug is antique pine (from our old farmhouse) and the stopper is Walnut.
The horn wears on the right side.
I am asking $315 shipped domestic.
This powder horn is a dandy :thumb:

Very nice horn! Congrats!

Pathfinder, Is this horn a right side carry because of the staple placement and or the shape of the horn?

Yes, the shape or twist of the horn will determined the carry side. Since it curves up toward the left it wears on the right. As such I did the staple placement and engraving accordingly.
Some horns do not have as much twist in them and can be used on left or right.

That is a nice looking horn. I agree with Tim that getting the book of "The Engraved Powder Horn" would give you lots of ideas for your horns. It's one the best books in my collection of books.
