Hi,
Does anyone have any sites handy that offer free powder horn strap patterns.
I have looked so long that my eyes are crossed!! :surrender:
Thanks

Can you redefine patterns? Are you talking weaved straps (Card, loom, etc) or leather?

Sorry.
I am wanting to weave the straps on a loom.
The French & Indian War period.
I have no idea how to weave, that's why I would like a site that will walk me thru it.
I figure I can give it a try.

I'd suggest you get into card weaving, its easy to learn and doesn't cost a lot to get started.

 I agree with you paco97; card weaving will get you some nice straps, not too sure about the easy part though. I had a little go at it a while back and then went on to try "inkle " weaving. That seemed to be more "user friendly"........ at least for me.
I believe the card weaving will get you a lot wider selection of patterns than the inkle method. Either one makes nice straps and sashes
