Powder horn wall thickness

Building a horn there are a few things to think about. One for me.
Is there a way to tell how thick the wall thickness is way up in the bend of a horn? Outside of having a CT scan or x-ray machines.

I don’t think it really matters. It opens up towards the base enough to allow for your powder. You want thicker walls towards the mouth of it to make it stronger anyway. If you’re trying to optimize all powder storage possible, you can kinda see what you’ve taken from the walls just by looking through it. Horn is like a fingernail in that its semi-transparent.
