Hello folks. I have a freshly finished powder horn up for your consideration. Its a nice sized horn at approx 14.5" along the curve, the hand fitted base plug is made of curly maple, a hand forged ring in the base serves as the rear sling attachment point. The two piece applied tip both are hand turned horn topped with a hand made wooden fiddle plug. The scrimshaw depicts the waterways and locations in and around the original rendezvous sites from 1825-1840. This would make a great display piece but its also ready for the woods or firing line.
