powder horn

Anyone got ideas for a southern day horn? Input is welcme and needed.

The examples I've seen for Southern horns were banded with rings and had turned spouts...

Don't know if this is what you have in mind or not; but here's one that was made in "Southern Nova Scotia ". This one is a little large to be considered a "day horn" I didn't measure it but would estimate that it would hold about 3/4 lb. of powder.
