A while back I remember seeing a chart that converted powder grains in relation to brass cartridge size, if anyone knows what I'm talking and where to find it I would appreciate if you can tell me. Thanks.

The 45-70 cases from different manufactures have different lengths when new, using a new as a measure would not be real accurate + or - a few grains if a couple of grains is important to you. Used cases should all be the same length, unless stretched, Not a big deal to me as to some guys,my limiting factor offhand is not the powder charge. I use a .45 colt case for a number of rifles. :grin:
