At the recently concluded NERP some of the prizes included a blackpowder manufacrured in China named LIDU. I never heard of this powder and can't recall seeing any test or mention of it in MB or ML. Just for the heck of it I tried a half-baked (at best) test by alternating 3F Goex and 3F LIDU in the pan of a small L&R (John Bailes) lock. I only fired the pan 15 times for each brand, and didn't notice any real difference. Both went off when the spark was good and neither fired with a weak spark. There MIGHT have been a bigger "poof" with the Goex but no nearly as big a poof with 4F.The only other info I have is that it is distributed by Corman Sporting Goods in Stanford KY. Has anyone had any experience with this powder at to performance in a flinflock and/cost?
