Hello yall, I was just wondering how yall clean your cap and ball cylinders from lube, oil, etc., before firing.I have heard lighter fluid, alcohol, ect.
I am real leary of flammable solvents,as I once had a chain fire I suspect was caused by such.Last time I used lighter fluid I briefly took a torch to the cylinder to rid it of any flammables.
Call it an overabundance of caution, but I have no desire to repeat my chain fire experience(slightly related side note, my buddy was with me, at the time and I made a remark about one of my long dead ancestors who my family tree said died of "accidental gunshot wound while cleaning"FWIW.
Just wondering the best way to get it completely free of any potential flammables. Thanks
