I attended an event at Ninety Six, SC this past weekend and they had a raffle for a beautiful canoe gun.
I admored it greatly, even though I am less than enthused about most "canoe guns" in general. The figure in the wood was very good, the fit and finish was great and the overall appearance was outstanding.
After looking at it for a few moments, I guessed that it was a Jackie Brown gun that had been put up on a shelf from several years ago. It looked just like his older work, but was advised that it was recently made by him. Anyone else had recent experience with any of Jackie's products? If his re-entry into the gun making business has been this good, I need to call him for another project.
