Hi guys.In Sweden, Colt revolvers are verry expensive. What is the price, of lets say a 1860 army in Ok working condition?

Are you talking about an original revolver, a 2nd generation or 3rd generation gun, or an Italian copy?

According to "Flayderman's Guide to antique American Firearms", 9th Edition (2007) an original 1860 Colt Army model with military markings in "good" condition was worth $950 (US). In "Fine" condition it was worth $7,500 (US).

I'm sure the prices are higher after 2 years.

Hi. I was thinking about a original gun. In Sweden we talking about 2500- 3000 dollar for a gun in fine condition.

That's a lot less than it would cost here. If you can get one for that price, buy it.

About 1 week ago there was a Walker pistol on the Swedish Tradera.com (Swedish Ebay) that the seller claimed to be an orginal for 35,000 Kr ($4900 USD).
Everyone said it was an obvious fake but the seller claimed that Flyaderman said it was real but only that it had a replacement cylinder.
Who would sell such an original 1847 Walker for under $5000, or should I ask who would buy it?
So I guess that Swedish buyers should beware even though there are some really nice antique guns over there.

I would be very wary indeed about a Walker priced at $5,000. I just can't believe it is an original, but anything is possible.

They say a fool and his money are soon parted.

Anyone who thinks they are going to buy a $50,000-$120,000 gun for $5,000 is a fool.

Unfortunately they and their money will be "soon parted".
