Hi fellas, here's a primitive hunter that my wife and I put together this week. It measures 10 1/4" OA with a 5 1/2" blade of 1080 HC steel. The blade is a modified Nessmuk style, that I call an upswept-droppoint. I also gave it a mustard etch to "age" it. The fittings are fire-blued mild steel and the handle is a piece of elk tine.
The sheath is veg tanned wrapped with elk rawhide. Embellishments are tin cones, buckskin and various beads (glass, clay, Frech crosses). Hope y'all like it...Bud and Tudy
