I have up for your consideration a rifle that was started and never finished from my late mentor and friend. I’m selling this to help settle the estate. It is a Lancaster style Rifle. It needs the ram rod thimbles, entry thimble has been inlet but has been lost over time, nose cap and wood shaped also, lock internals polished. I’m not sure what barrel is on it and im not taking it apart to find out.( I know he used Green Mountain a lot)It has a 42 inch long, 45 caliber, 7/8s straight barrel, L&R lock and set triggers from an unknown maker. It has tons of wood to be removed yet. The stock looks to be curly maple. The rifle as it sits weighs 9 lbs. The barrel is new never been shot, it has surface rust but bore is clean, The trigger bar is countersunk and will need attention ( see photos) it’s a great start to an easy project. I’m asking 700$ shipped to your house. If you have any questions or want certain photos let me know thanks!
