Gentleman,

I hunt mostly in the late season, after the shotgunners have called it a season. I'm thinking of getting a capote made for late hunting. Would the white "Lachine" type blanket with all the black shoots be practical in snow, or would I be better off with a green or red "Lachine" pattern, based on the crazy weather (no snow, etc), thanks.

Kind regards,

The white is good in snow, but if you hunt late NY shotgun deer season you don't want to be wearing white. :shocking:

Deer see the red as gray and it is better in hardwoods (lighter trunks, leaf litter), the green is good in pines/conifers. Red definately will show up best to other hunters.
