Any good muzzleloading supply stores in ohio? I know of one up north but for the life of me can't think of the name of it or where it's at.

Any help is appreciated

they don't come much better than the cabin!

There use to be Golden Age Arms Company in Delaware, Ohio but they either moved or went out of buisness, can't remember which...

Fellow Ohioans, are there any reputable blackpowder/muzzleloader suppliers in southern OH? Thanks.

Golden Age went out of buisness. All good things come to an end.
Yup. Golden Age moved from Delaware to Ashley awhile back, then shut down completely. The sign was still on the window when I drove by there a couple months ago.
The Log Cabin Shop is a wonderful place though..always has been. Even better now with the museum addtiion. They are just a lot further travelling distance than Golden Age (since I work in Delaware!).
Now the "Gun Shop" on the main drag of Hilliard still stocks black powder though. So at least I don't have to drive to Lodi to get that!

Well, that is good! How is the rest of their Ml'ing supplies? What powder do they sell?

The rest of their ML supplies are standard T/C and such. Most of which you can find at Miejers or Walmart. I don't know if they have other powder brands, I buy GOEX powder there. It's like $15-something a pound.
The rest of the stuff I can get mail-order online, but I hate driving 90 miles to Lodi just to buy some GOEX black powder. And Hilliard is on my way to and from the Columbus MuzzleLoading Gun Club's range...so it's convenient.
BTW- They have a huge stock of assault weapons, machine guns, even some rocket launchers. If you need a browning belt-fed heavy machine gun, you can get one there :)

I was in Tippecanoe this past summer and they were well stocked but I'm not sure of the hours they are open.

Where is Tippecanoe?

Tippecanoe Traders is located in Tipp City, Ohio. Just about 7 miles North of Dayton off of I-75.

Hey wheelockhunter! The CMLGC website is at- http://www.cmlgc.org/ But it seems to be down right now.
There really isn't a lot of information there anyway. A fantastic club though. The range is private, tree-lined firing lines, covered 25 yard loading/shooting on one end, a second structure is being built on the other end of the line in November. They have open shoots monthly. It really is a lovely place to shoot muzzle loaders.

Thanks jack, I need to get another memebership there. Had one a few years ago. Now that i'm closer it's easier for me to get to.

The webpage didn't load, is it still 20 dollars for a year?

thanks

Thank's again weird jack, will have to contact them. I may check out the Association of Ohio Longrifle Collectors, and Ohio Valley Muzzle Loading Gun Club seeing they sound close as well.

Can never have to many places to shoot.
