I'm debating on a Lyman GP pistol kit in a .50 or a Traditions Trapper in the same. I built a GP rifle last year and thing the pistol would go nice. But I have little hands and am afraid I wouldn't be able to grip it properly, so I'm leaning towards the trapper because I could alter the grip slightly and wouldn't feel bad. I can also purchase a trapper locally for $150.00, and I also have step by step instructions from Sam Fadala. I'm wondering on accuracy differences. Thanks

I just recently completed a Trapper. It's quite an accurate gun. I didn't expect much from Traditions but I was pleasantly surprised. I've heard several people say that their Trapper is accurate too, so I guess that's normal. The inletting needed a lot of correction, but it all went together fine in the end.

My only complaint, ONLY, is the front sight on my Trapper got hit somehow and now It wont put the balls where I'm looking!
Guess I gotta go sight it in!

never touched anything out of the box....likes 20 gr 3F black, will shoot tight groups all day at40-50 yards.
Was real pleased with this gun, nice trigger, OK sights, great barrel.
If I were tochange anything, I would thin out the front sight.

Brett
