My confuser took a #$@%^% died and lost all my stored info. I am looking for the info on J.Tanner's moulds. The fellow from England who will make odd-custom diameter round ball moulds. Any help would be appreciated. Tried the archives of two differient muzzloading sites. No luck. Thanks in advance. BJH

You need to check a little closer to home. Go to the Forum index page, click on Muzzleloading links, and then click on Suppliers, parts, & molds links. There is a link for Jeff Tanner's mold there.

Thank you kindly. Some times a fella just can't see what's under his nose. I am after a .590 dia. mould for a friend's tight bored 20 guage. BJH

Just a add on to this thread, Just corresponded with Jeff he says the mould will be shipped tomorrow. I guess I got a bit lucky in that the mould I wanted is not in a highly off the wall size. Much faster than I expected. BJH

Anyone know where you can get an old fashoned single ball mould? I used to have an antique one for my 32 that was obviously hand made. Sort'a looked like a pair of pliers.

I may have to make one myself:)

I recieved my mould from Jeff Tanner. It arrived in exactly two weeks. He wrote to me to expect its arrival in two to three weeks when it was ordered. It's nice to have somthing arrive at the earliest estimate of time. Nice mould looking foreward to using it. BJH

Dalenabq; try Rapine's bag mould. Got in in .540 which looks just like my original .36, 'cept it's bigger & ain't covered w/ 100+ years of browning (rust). Not real cheap, had to pay about $60 for it about 8 years ago.

Used to cast balls at reenactments with it, but had to caution even seasoned reenactors that it don't take long to examine a fresh ball right out of the mold.
