Went to my "Range" today, an empty drill pad site at the end of my road, been shooting there for years nice to have. I wanted to get some extensive shooting with Rebekah my Berks County Flintlock in 54. Prior to my cataract surgery this fall I haven't shot her in years, couldn't see front sight. She was always a shooter. Anyway after coming home with 20/20 distance vision after surgery, I picked her up and looked down the barrel, and sights were clear! I still use bifocals to read but whatever they did I could shoot the flinter again. I plan to use her this weekend, the last 2 days of Muzzleloader season here. Ok get there get set up. Place target at 40 yds. I use 40/40 sight in method. Pulled first shot slightly. Drifted sight a tad left, loaded up and next 2 shots on target Continued shooting at various distances at 10" cast iron skillet, all hits. I am stoked to finally hit the woods with this rifle again Saturday. Deer better be on High alert, TC.
