Hey Everyone,
Thought I would give a range report to you with all the suggestion you gave me. The shot is #6 stell shot and Triple 7 powder.
Shot 1:
68gr of powder
100gr of shot(327BB appr.)
Shotcup with the cotton ball
25yrd
Shot 2:
60gr of powder
100 gr of shot
shotcup with the cotton ball
25yds
Shot 3:
60gr of powder
100 gr of shot
shotcup with the cotton ball
25yrds
Shot 4:
60gr of powder
100gr of shot
shotcup with the cotton ball
40yrds
I had some good results. Shot #1 got 157 bb in a 30" circle but had a big space in the lower right. Looks like it is from the shotcup. Shot #2 and #3 I had 227BB which is 70%coverage and a nice spread. Shot #4 I had 142BB which is close to 50% coverage. The cotton ball shot cups seem to work but the only thing with them is the shotcup wasn't opening much. Don't know if they are to stiff or if the tape around the top was causing a problem. I guess I can take 70% coverage @ 25yrds and 50% @ 40yrds with a cyl bore. Any other thoughts or suggestion you mit have I am open to them.
Thanks,
Nolan
