Rawhide Bags

I`m wanting to make up a couple rawhide shot bags and was wondering if anyone knows how to do it ?
I bought a couple dog bones and was going to use those.

Heres the first one I did a while back. Basically make your holes, soak in warm water, stitch and then fill with either bird shot or rice packing it in as much as possible to form a nice rounded bag and then set a side to dry. Remove your filler once dry and you have a usable shot pouch. :thumbsup:

Well, they don't make good head bands. Especially if they get wet!

It never occured to me to use the rawhide dog bones to make a pouch. what a great Idea ! :applause:

cool idea about the unrolled rawhide doggie bone ... i'm still trying to get brave enough to do boiled leather ...

I was going to make some moccasin soles from large doggie bones.
Then my son brought his dog, a big Lab. to the house for a visit.........
