Other times when I don't want to be travelling the mountains, I really like Rondys. Is there a comprehensive lists of history events. I know of the major ones like the College, and the RMNR ( I went last year to Mancos with one of my horses). Back east, one could go to events within a half days drive every weekend if one was so inclined. Wandering minds want to know lol....

Blackhorse, thars a good rondy down in Florence, Co. on memorial day weekend. They have primitive and modern camping, shoots, traders etc. They also shoot a lot of cannons. I make my wife crazy, ever time I watch th' cannons shoot, I tell her we are gonna hock something so I can get one. Florence is about 45 minutes south of the Springs on 115.
