Got this in a trade i did some days ago. Original handle was a deer antler too but way to small for my hands and wasnt comfortable for me.
I got this one off a shed i found in the back yard some years ago and got it shaped and fitted to the knife. I used JB Weld to hold it in, Hopefully it will hold up to many years of use.
The last owner said the blade was made from a railroad spike. It took a really darn good edge after a few minutes on my knife stone.
Going to let it dry for a day or 2 and then cut the browtine off and shape that down.
