Hello to all the forum members. I am happy to have found this forum....it is a great educational resource for those interested in muzzleloaders of any type and the things that go along with them. I live on the Maine coast and have been building flintlock rifles of various styles and their accoutrements for many years...just as a hobby..most of the rifles have been built for friends. My main interest in history is the mid 18th century period of the Ohio River valley and I try to spend some time each year exploring down that way. I will enjoy future posts here as part of my continuing education.

Regards to all,

Dave Gross

I'm glad to hear you have experience with flintlock rifles, I haven't shot the Flintlocks as much that I have with the percussion rifle. I really enjoy both rifles.
