This wonderful 28" Double 12, c1850 must have been a very expensive gun in its day. Made by G&J Deane, it still has its exquisite engraving, with platinum touch holes and lovely balance.

I probably could shoot it; UK gun laws are such that I can legally own the gun, as an Antique/Collectable, without a licence, however, If I want to shoot the gun, I would need a firearms licence; if it were a modern reproduction of a 'muzzleloader', I would need a licence just to own it.
