I was just over at the Goex site and saw that they are trying to get BP reclassified so as to be able to sell it like smokelss powder. I'm betting this has been discussed here already, but I didn't come up with anything via search. Assuming the topic has already been discussed, any links to such would be appreciated.

I must strongly encourage MLF members to write or print out letters to the powers that be. Emails are blank ammo in this shooting war.

There's a US Army chaplain's manual that is only available on computer disc to prevent its use in court. Kid you not, not even available from the US Government Printing Office.

In short, the legal system runs on paper, so get those cards and letters posted!

Huh???

How does being on computer disc prevent it's being used in court???

I've been to two county fairs and a goat roping and I've never heard of that one before.

I'm a wondering why an Army Chaplain would want to be hiding his manual?

You don't suppose it has some really sneaky ways of passing the collection plate do you? :rotf:

Recently, the Congress received so many emails relating to the "Wall Street Bail Out" they had to temporarily shut down their mail server. The Government has email! They routunely report on the email they receive.

It's 2008, not 1908.

I Heartily agree with Claypipe. Goex has asked for snail mail for a reason. We can speculate all we want, but it doesn't change the fact that they want paper. They're online, so they could just as easily have setup an email link. Why didn't they? I don't know, but they asked for paper mail, so I sent mine. C'mon folks, it doesn't take but a couple minutes of your time and it may benefit us greatly in the end. Or it may help stave off more restrictions in the future that would make it even harder to get black powder.

All that you guys have to do is look at one of our members here on the Forum "Dukeofwellington"
In England you need special permits to have black powder. And even then you can't buy it.
TAKE IT FROM ME! Up here in Canada, it also is getting impossible to get black powder, even at $32 a pound. :shake:
SEND THOSE LETTERS!!!!!

It may possibly be so that they can certify the responses verses emails being brought into question and the difficulty of verifying the sender, senders age, etc.
