Looking for a good flint pistol in .36 what would you guys recommend? I'm new to all of it. I'm in the process of building a .36 cal smr right now so I want to keep a pistol of the same caliber.

I can't think of any company that currently produces any. 45 and 50 caliber is more common today.
Cap and ball revolvers are available in 36.
You could probably find a used flintlock pistol somewhere I'm sure.

Check out local pawnshops.
Over the weekend, I stopped in a shop that had a beautiful set of flintlock dueling pistols in a nice wooden box.
The pricetag had way too many zeros, so I stopped looking, Lol.
Gunbroker and the other sites are worth checking out from time to time.
