Lyman 54cal L.H. Deerstalker Percussion -
Nice hunting rifle for eastern woods or western brush. Excellent (-) condition. Bore is bright and no rust. Handles and shoots well. Barrel is coned for Maxis. This is a hunting rifle so has some blems but nothing serious. Front sight filed down to near blade width. I'll include a brand new Lyman front sight and the button jag (pictured). The recoil pad shows use from my lead sled and there is a loose spot about ½ way up barrel. This has been there as long as I can remember and maximum charges haven't changed it at all.
This is a very nice rifle that is now seems to be discontinued. At 70 years I need to start thinning the herd and it was a very tough choice. I'll include a box of unmentionables that this shoots well. NOTE: splotchy appearance on barrel is from taking photos outdoors. All blueing is uniform.
