Typical of Tennessee mountain rifles and other poor boy style SMRs.

The lock is CVA. This is not a Dixie product. Triggers are custom as is the rest of the furniture. Barrel would be marked by Dixie if they sold it. I suspect that a guy wanted to build himself a rifle & used a CVA lock because it was handy or cheap.
