SOLD Reduced JW Donelson. 54 Lehigh Style Flintlock

Another fine long gun from builder John W Donelson. This one is his Lehigh style. See link in this ad. The rifle has a 44" swamped barrel with round bottom rifling and a pristine 1:66 bore. I am confident this has never been fired. The barrel has a pleasing silver grey finish. Top flat has JW DONELSON 2008 engraved. The Tiger Maple stock has few handling marks. There is some fine incise and relief carving. Brass fittings. Silver thumb piece on wrist has joined CS or SC. LOP is 14". Lock is unmarked and sparks well. Rifle balances well and weighs about 8.5 lbs. Compare asking price with Mr. Donelson's current catalog. $2000 + Shipping.
