For sale: A fine reproduction Mississippi rifle made by Euroarms of America. Great for an Early US Civil War Impression or for NSSA! Though originals were originally made in .54, many were rebored to .58 for use in the Confederate War, and this piece replicates those guns, although it's not got a provision for a bayonet and retains what is to my knowledge the 1841 style ramrod meant for PRB.
Great condition except for minor amount of finish at muzzle is a splotchy and there is a slight scratch in front of the lockplate. I've shot it a few times with Minié balls and it seems to be sighted in for around 120 yards. Nice handling, beautiful stock. Excellent lock function. Stamped with the eagle and US on plate. A handsome piece. I will include a nipple protector, tow worm, and reproduction M1841 Rifle tool (has been filed on a little to make it function better.)
$1200 plus shipping within CONUS. Willing to meet for pickup within half an hour of Albemarle, NC. PM if interested.
Thanks for looking!
Price reduced on 5/31 to $1000 shipped CONUS east of Mississippi River, and $1025 if shipped west of Mississippi River.
