This is a scarce, no longer manufactured flintlock .40 Pedersoli Cub. It is in overall excellent condition, showing only finish fading from light exposure. Also, a little dusty. Appears unfired. The Cub is no longer offered in .40. Date code BM for 1999. The 28.25" barrel has an excellent, mirror bright bore. Twist is 1:48. The plain Maple (?) stock has few handling marks, but needs a refreshing oil rub. LOP is 13.25. Brass fittings include fancy four piece patchbox. The only mark on frizzen is where I tested for spark. Sparkle Plenty. $550 + Shipping.

The sights are on backwards and the stock has been refinished. Semper Fi.

Yes they came as a kit,I bought one as a kit in early 90's I love that little gun it was about all I shot for 20 years, squirrel and deer hunting it shoots very good from 20 grains -60 grains with a patched .395 ball.

Sights, yes. I think stock is just light faded. Did (do) these come in kit form?
Yes, they did. The lock panels are not the way Ped's factory lock panels are done. I'm not saying it's not worth what you are asking for it, it is. I think today prices are up around $700.00 to $1000.00 for a Pedersoli flintlock rifle in any cal. Just things I noticed. Semper Fi.

not trying to nitpick, it is a great gun for the money! it has Philips screws in the patch box. can be changed in a moment, just an observation,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Still consider 550, and shipping? I am certainly interested!
