Is there a Rendezvous that invites a tribe to camp next door?

I can't help thinking how cool it would be to have :hmm: Say an Idaho Rendezvous with a tribal gathering of Nez Perce 10 minutes walk away

:surrender: Sure there would likely be some hang ups :idunno: but I bet there were back in the day as well.

You want to be a Mountainy Man? Walk into a camp of 300 Nez Perce (if your invited) and try trading that patch knife for a beaver hide.

Both groups are trying to keep their history alive, both worked together (for a time) in the day. :idunno: maybe it would put some vigor into the attempts of both.

This was nothing of the scale you are talking about, but I was at a small rendezvous last weekend that had a native American camp at one end. Only a few lodges.
On Saturday, there were two Mohawk braves leading a captive white girl around camp trying to collect a ransom. There are probably hundreds of pictures of that. I happened to be right there when they brought her by her parents lodge. They wouldn't pay the ransom, but they did take pictures. :haha:
