Here's an email that's updated from one I wrote back in November. There has been one email submitted since then.....
I still don't want to believe that are no buckskinners in Texas that exchange information on their rendezvous....or that I was the last one to put a message on this page.
It's almost time for Texas Free Trappers Rendezvous XVI on February 9 - 12.
It's the only rendezvous around here that has a Rifle Walk and a Pistol Walk with several shots
each along a trail in the woods, and a Knife and Hawk Walk with 11 blocks in the woods with no pacing of distances to the blocks. All this in addition to the Rifle, Smoothbore and Pistol Matches, the Knife & Hawk Matches and the Archery event. Every event has a winner, like at the originals. There is a Potluck Supper on Saturday evening before Council Fire.
So get off of your butts and rendezvous like never before. The location is near Shiner, Texas,
