Wanted to stop in quick for an introduction. I am relatively new to muzzle loading. Looking to find some good info on here to help me get into sport much more.

I went ML hunting with a loned CVA Hawken last fall. Enjoyed every minute of it. Pretty sure I have the fever now!

Welcome. Good to see another Minnesoootan

Thanks for the welcome Archie. Where abouts are you in MN?I live in the rural Mankato area. South of Mankato about 20 miles. Been muzzleloader hunting with my neighbor in the Rushford area a few years now.

I am looking to make a decision on my first BP rifle soon. Hoping to read up on muzzleloading here and get everything acquired for spring after turkey season is through.

I am just west of farmington. When I first moved out here in the 70's it was rural. Now I think we are considered city boys. I hunt up around Eveleth in the great pine forest and iron range. dang red mud gets on everything. This muzzleloadin is addicting and they are much easier to build than them HP rifles. There are a whole bunch of ML builder sites on the WWW. to view the gun porn and Track of the Wolf has a very nice color catalog for lookin to see what you like. Good luck and post often.
