New drum install, but first need to drill, tap and plug the old hole. Thinking about drill into the plug about half way through to provide more surface area for the plug to grab on to. What say the group?

Two thoughts on new drum placement. There is a scribe line showing the face of the plug. One idea is to place the edge of the flash hole at the face of the plug. The other idea is to place the threads at the face of the plug. Thoughts on 5/16" or 3/8" drum threads? What say the group?

The muzzle was rusted and worn at .625 dia. After taking of 3/4" and honing it is now .609. The bore is progressive. More open at the chamber end. No doubt she's a 20ga. But .609 seems like a full choke. Leave it as is? Open her up a touch more?

Many thanks.

That is good advice. Need to get her built first. Decided to not move the drum forward. Will open the existing 9mm hole up to a 3/8-24 thread and clean up the existing flash channel. TOTW drum and vent liner inbound.

I'm thinking flintlock is what she really deserves. As she was a flintlock originally.
