I am new to the sport of blackpowder shooting, I have been around it but not done any shooting on my own.

I have a .36 cal Navy revolver , and holding it in my hands to load it is no fun. So after looking on the web, I built me a loading stand.

Any comments welcome.

I like the two places for balls and I guess for either wads or caps. Looks well made and well thought out...................watch yer top knot................

Yes, I find that this stand helps with the loading, and that makes the shooting more fun.

Keep your powder dry.

No real plans, I just did a search on the inter-net and saw a few on different sites.

I made the base 4"W X 10"L and the Riser 4"W X 4 1/2" H. The notch to hold the pistol was started with a 1 1/2" hole saw, with the top part cut off.

The riser is not attached to the base.
The rest is just to your taste.

Keep your powder dry.
