I have for sale a new 20 ga fowling piece barrel by Rice out of 4140 to allow it to be made thin enough to be comparable to that of a historical smoothbore barrel. This barrel is based on an English fowling gun by Andreas Dolep. It is 41" long with a 1 1/16" breech. The octagon part is 6 5/8" and transitions to 2 separate wedding band areas. This barrel is jug choked by Rice to throw i believe a modified pattern. I have had success with both shot and ball from all the jugged barrels I or my family have owned. The round section of this barrel has 4 different tapers starting out quicker then changing to a slower rate of taper as it moves towards the muzzle. It weighs in at only 2 3/4 pounds per Rice and will make a super sleek and lightweight piece.
Barrel is in as new condition just like I got it from Rice. I am only selling this at what they originally cost in 2017 as my build specs have changed.
350.00 plus shipping. Continental USA only
