Bought my 1st flintlock today, got it at a local gun show.

Also bought a CVA rifle that I have posted in the percussion forum.

I was wondering if anyone had any info on this pistol.

It's stamped

Richland Arms co.
Made in Italy
Pennsylvania cal.44
Black Powder Only

And has a 3 digit serial number.

I know it needs a little TLC but I got it for only $100, what do you think? Worth it???

Another question I have concerns the blued barrel finish, shoudnt it be browned???

thanks

JIM

dont know anything about it but it looks like a decent pistol to me,would'nt think you got hurt for $100.00

I don't know about that particular pistol, but I've got a Richland Arms 1860 Colt Army w/ fluted cylinder I bought almost 30 years ago. Though I've replaced a few springs, it's as fun to shoot today as it was way back then. I'm sure you've got a good flinter there.
