Does anyone know who actully manufactured the spiller and burr revolver with richland arms stamping on the barrel. I can find no information on this particular cap and ball revolver by this company. I own one and it could use a new set of nipples.

Its going to need one of the metric threaded nipples. Remove a nipple and take it to your hardware store that has a thread checking station. Most likely it will be 6-0.75mm. Measure the length overall and the length of the threads. That will give you the cone height. With that information, visit the Track of the Wolf website and match thread pitch, overall length and cone height to the selections offered.

There should be a stamping on the gun somewhere indicating who made it. Some times on the bottom of the grip, other times under the loading lever, The little insignias with letters can be pretty obscure. I have had 2 cap and ball revolvers with totally unknown maker's stamps. I don't know if there was more than one maker of the Spiller and Burr.
