Wondering if anyone around here makes or knows where to get some handmade forged rifle racks I can put on a wall for the boy's flinter he just got? I'd rather go with an individual rather than the big companies that just have everything stamped out en masse. Unfortunately I don't have the room to set up a decent forge "yet"...........

I've gotten some nice hooks from Stumblin Wolf here on the MLF. In fact, I'm working on a 3-gun rack now for my son using some of Matt's hooks and a decent piece of curly maple.

There is a couple nice looking forged rifle hooks for sale in this forums classified under "General Merchandise For Sale" !!

I made my rifle rack from horse shoes. Ya cut one in half, weld it to a full shoe and it makes for an interesting conversation piece. They're easy to make and it's a good father/son project.

I made a nice one from a white Birch trunk....
I had a nice peace of white Birch -split in half an attach the halves to the wall... The bottom of the rack is wider apart than the top part...
Drill holes at an aprox. angle of 45 degrees where I want to hang a gun, bow or whatever, en
stick roughly wittled pegs into those holes.... It has a nice rustic look and doesn 't cost a dime... sorry that I do not have any pics of it :(
