My dad had a Lancaster Co. repro built as a gift for me 6 or 7 years ago and I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the maker and value. Questions in parenthesis are what he thinks they may be.It's got a .50 cal hex patched ball barrel (Douglas?) with "H Newman" etched near the breech with a brown finish. There's also other decorative scroll etchings. The flashhole is threaded stainless. It has fitted interchangeable percussion and flint locks (Siler?). The wood is gorgeous curly maple and has a brass inlayed patch box, other german silver inlays with a lot of the typical Lancaster Co type engravings.Below is a (bad) picture.
Thanks in advance,
Ty
