Dang, went to a gun show last week end and saw primers going for 25 bucks a hundred and no percussion caps at all! Guess it's time to knap out some more flints an look for some conversion locks. Perhaps things will look better soon.

The Fleet Farm store here in Wis. has all four types of CCI primers on the rack for $13. They also have caps, I forget how much they were.

Sportsman's Warehouse has primers for $7.99 to $10.99 depending on brand. No caps, though.

Gun shows are the worst place to get caps and primers . Hang on, they are slowly coming back into circulation.

I loaned a friend $35 so he could buy the last tin at a fun show. The vendor thanked me and I told my friend he was nuts.

Last 1000 caps I bought. I payed $30.00 for them. Guess I got lucky as all get out.! Guy was selling all his muzzle loading stuff.
